Prisma ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

  • Account information (email, name) when you sign up
  • Integration data from connected tools (Slack, Linear, GitHub, PostHog, Notion, Jira) — processed locally on your machine
  • Interview recordings and transcripts — stored locally, never uploaded without your consent
  • Usage analytics via PostHog to improve the product

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve Prisma's features
  • To send product updates (you can opt out anytime)
  • To respond to support requests

Data Storage & Security

Prisma is a desktop application. Your product data, signals, and interview transcripts are stored locally on your machine. We use industry-standard encryption for any data transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for authentication, PostHog for analytics, and AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for AI features. Each has its own privacy policy.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing hello@tryprisma.ai.

Cookies and Tracking

The Prisma marketing website uses minimal analytics to understand traffic patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. The desktop application communicates with our servers only for authentication, AI processing, and integration syncing.

Data Retention

Your local data persists on your machine as long as you choose to keep it. Server-side account data is retained while your account is active. Upon deletion request, we remove all server-side data within 30 days. Local data on your machine is yours to manage.

Children's Privacy

Prisma is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the application or by email. Your continued use of Prisma after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
